Day 9: 30 Day Meditation Challenge

images Technique to Try: Who Am I?

  • Sit with you spine straight or lie flat. Close your eyes and take a few moments to become quiet. Observe the natural flow of your breath.
  • Then put aside everything you think you know about who you are and ask yourself this question: "Who am I?" Ask the question, but don't answer it. Instead feel the answer. Feel who you are. Feel the energy of you. Answer in direct experience of the energy that you are, not words.
  • When you attention wonders from this personal self-experiencing, ask yourself, "Who is thinking this?" or "Who is experiencing this sensation or sound?" The ask again, "But who am I?"
  • Find out who you are through direct experience. Keep bringing your conscious awareness back into the conscious experience of you in the now.

Day 7: 30 Day Meditation Challenge

img_4871_640.jpg

IMG_4871_640Awesome! We made it through the first week! This week, let's increase our post-mediation reflection to include a few more minutes journaling, creating, or art as creativity comes out of stillness. Maybe the creativity manifests in an actual work of art or piece of writing or maybe its just about getting creative in the way we treat ourselves or in some of the self-work we may be doing.

Blessings on your bottom! :-)
